STAFF COACHING COURSES - AN OVERVIEW

ISFA particularly recommends the following Coaching Courses for teachers in independent schools

ISFA runs its own Coaching INSET Award, particularly aimed at school teachers.  In addition, it recommends four courses run by the Football Association as being particularly appropriate to teachers who wish to develop their coaching knowledge and ability more extensively and have the time and desire to do so.

FA COACHING COURSES

ISFA particularly recommends the following FA coaching courses:

1st4SPORT LEVEL ONE CERTIFICATE IN COACHING FOOTBALL
FA YOUTH AWARDS - MODULES 1, 2 AND 3

(The FA Age Appropriate Introductory Module is no longer offered on its own.  However, the content of the course is now included in the FA Level One coaching course).

All these courses are suitable for coaches of both boys and girls football.

Some of these are arranged by ISFA, hosted by member schools - click on each course above for further details. When courses are not available through ISFA, schools are advised to contact their Local County FA.
