SUCCESS FOR ISFA PLAYERS

It’s been a notable week for ISFA and former ISFA players

Firstly congratulations to Jensen Weir of The Grange School (Cheshire), who is involved in the ISFA U16 programme and has been involved in the ISFA representative programme since U13. Jensen made his First Team debut for Wigan Athletic as a substitute against Accrington Stanley in the Checkatrade Trophy, becoming the youngest First Team player in Wigan’s history.

Will Donkin played for ISFA’s U16 representative team last season, whilst a pupil at Eton, before leaving to sign for Crystal Palace. During the international break he made his Full International debut for Chinese Taipei as a substitute against Turkmenistan in the Asian Cup.

Finally, there were 3 ISFA goals in one EFL match during Luton Town’s 7-1 win over Cambridge United. The Lee brothers, Olly and Elliot, both former pupils of Brentwood School, were in fine form, Elliot scoring twice and Olly scoring from no less than 70 yards when he spotted the keeper off his line – check it out online!
