On a blustery day at ACS Cobham six schools battled it out in the ISFA’s South East Girls U15 Summer Tournament with tournament newcomers Hall School Wimbledon ending the day unbeaten and victorious.

Both Bede’s and Hall School started the day strongly winning their opening matches against ACS Cobham and Guildford High respectively and that was a sign of things to come as both schools kept up their 100% record until meeting in the events final game to decide who would be crowned champions. Hall School Wimbledon produced an excellent attacking display in the final to exert their dominance running out 3-0 winners and claim first place in the process.

Repton also started strongly winning their opening match before finding both Bede’s and Hall School too strong, before ending the tournament strongly to claim third place. ACS Cobham took 4th place thanks to a 2-0 victory over Guildford High and a draw with Bede’s 2.

ISFA’s Football Development Manager Ian Bent was delighted with the success of the day, commenting “today was another excellent example of the quality of football within independent schools, with some excellent performances from teams and individuals here today. I would like to thank ACS Cobham for hosting the event, all the schools that participated, and the referees for all their efforts throughout the day”.
