BEDE'S PREP TAKE THE HONOUR IN THE U11 SOUTH EAST QUALIFIER 

The new U11 Girls 7v7 Independent Schools kicked off on Friday with the South East Qualifier taking place at Ardingly College. The new competition run in partnership with The FA, ISA and IAPS will see a series of regional qualifiers take place before a national finals day at SGP in June.

Teams from Ardingly College, Bedes Prep, Crosfields School and Royal Russell participated in the first qualifying event with some excellent football on display from all teams. Bede’s Prep started the round-robin competition as they would mean to go on defeating Ardingly 4-0 while Royal Russell also started strongly with a comfortable 4-1 victory over Crosfields School. Bede’s Prep soon took control of the competition defeating Royal Russell 1-0, while Crossfield School earned their first victory of the competition. As the tournament progressed Bede’s Prep continued to impress and qualified for the finals day as the winners notching an impressive 6 victories from their 6 games. Royal Russell picked up four victories to finish second and also earn their place at St George’s Park. Crosfields School and Ardingly College finished level on points in third place.
