The U11 Girls 7v7 North regional qualifiers was hosted by Bolton School at Old Boltonians AFC, which is  believed to be the oldest football ground in England still in use. Teams from AKS Lytham, Bolton School, Hale Prep and Nottingham Girls High School came together to compete in a six-team round robin tournament. After two rounds the competition was still wide open with all teams minus one gaining points. AKS Lytham, having dropped their first points after narrowly losing 1-0 to Hale Prep ‘1’ in their third game, manage to come back and win their remaining two fixtures to put them on 12 points. The final game of the day was between Hale Prep ‘1’ and Nottingham Girls. Both teams where going into the fixture knowing that a win could secure them a place at the National Finals in June. It was a tense game with both teams putting their last ounce of energy in to try and secure the victory, but the game ended in a goalless draw resulting in Hale Prep ‘1’ securing second place, with Nottingham Girls narrowly missing out in third place.
