Alleyn’s School hosted the start of the first ever Girls U13 Independent Schools Cup with the South East Regional Qualifier taking place on a glorious sunny day. The nine competing teams were split into two groups  and group A was hotly contested with some highly competitive games right from the start. Royal Russell made an excellent start with victories over Alleyn's and Surbiton High A and went on to top with the group, with both Surbiton High and Alleyn’s recovering well to take 2nd and 3rd spots respectively in the group. Holme Grange defeated The Abbey B to take the remaining quarter final spot.

In the quarter finals The Alleyn’s and both Surbiton High School teams produced to some excellent attacking football to book their place in the next round, whilst Royal Russell overcame an excellent City of London defensive display with a 2-0 victory. The semi-finals produced two very close competitive games.
