Charterhouse school hosted the Girls U15 national 7v7 tournament as twelve schools battled it out for the national title.

Loughborough High School produced some exceptional football as they notched up a 100% record to win Group A, with St Swithuns and Bedes recording identical records as both schools joined Loughborough High in the quarter finals, with King Alfred finishing fourth. Group B was incredibly competitive, with ACS Cobham topping the group, from Kings College Taunton in second, Repton third, and St Catherine’s fourth. Group C saw Ardingly finish top, Forest second, and Cheltenham Ladies College edge out Guildford for third spot.

The quarter finals were hotly contested with Loughborough, Kings College Taunton, ACS Cobham and Ardingly all making through to the semi-finals. In the semi-finals Loughborough High maintain their 100% record defeating Kings College Taunton, whilst ACS Cobham were starting to fins their stride in defeating Ardingly.

The final saw both teams giving everything they had to claim the title, and it was ACS Cobham who hit form at the right time, winning 1-0 to claim the title.

A huge thank you to all the referees who did an excellent job, Charterhouse School for hosting the competition, and all competing schools for supporting the event with an excellent turn out demonstrating the continued growth of girls football.
