David Elleray MBE, Chair of ISFA since 2003, has announced his decision to retire from this role and from his various roles with The Football Association. ISFA would like to place on record its huge gratitude to Mr. Elleray for his outstanding leadership over 19 years, during which time he has led the Association through a period of significant expansion, represented ISFA on The FA, acted as Chair of The FA Referees Committee, a member of the Football Regulatory Authority and also worked for FIFA and IFAB. He will continue his work as Technical Director of IFAB.

Kevin Knibbs has been elected as the new Chair of ISFA. He coached various football teams at Bolton School, including the 1st XI, before moving to Hampton School, first as Deputy Head and, since 2013, as Headmaster. He has served on the ISFA Executive Committee since 2016 and is also Chair of the HMC Sports Committee.

ISFA’s new Representative on The FA Council will be Susannah Abbott, who will also become ISFA Vice-Chair. A former player with Charlton Athletic, Reading and Queens Park Rangers, she played in the 2003 FA Charity Shield and FA Cup Final, played for the English Universities team and captained the Middlesex Womens' team. After spells at Bradfield College and Harrow School (where she was the school’s first female housemaster), she became Senior Deputy Head at Queens College, London, in 2017. She has served on the ISFA Executive Committee since 2009 during which time she has also chaired the ISFA Girls’ Development Committee. She has also worked for The FA as an Education Welfare Officer and is currently a safeguard lead at regional ID talent days.
