2019: SUCCESSFUL DAY AT QUEENSWOOD SCHOOL

28 female teachers from schools across the country attended a specially designed CPD event at Queenswood School in Hertfordshire.  FA Tutors Sharon Muxworthy and Joanne Williams delivered the course that provided an introduction to The FA's DNA towards coaching, focussing on developing players with a lifelong love for the game in an environment that is inclusive and accessible for all standards of players.  The coaches received resources and practical guidance on working with female players in a school environment as well as an opportunity to share ideas with each other.

The even was organised by ISFA's Football Development Manager, Ian Bent, as part of the continued drive to grow and develop girls' football within independent schools and support female staff responsible for delivering these programmes.  The teachers who attended will continue to receive resources through the year with follow-up taking place in 12 months time.

Any school wanting to find out more on how ISFA can support your girls' football programme, or the girls' football opportunities within ISFA, should contact Ian Bent at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
