BENEFITS OF ISFA MEMBERSHIP

Standard Membership of ISFA costs just £25 for a season.

Through ISFA, schools enjoy affiliation to The Football Association and can stay in touch with everything that is going on in independent schools football, as well as participating in tournaments, the representative and development programme and coaching courses.

Please see below for a full list of benefits, aimed at both senior and junior schools.

National Governing Body

  • Affiliation to ISFA provides affiliation to The Football Association.
  • Schools not affiliated to The FA, either through ISFA or through their local County FA or County Schools FA, are playing “unaffiliated football”, not recognised by the national governing body for the game in England.
  • This could have legal implications in the event of an incident taking place in an “unaffiliated” match and would almost certainly invalidate the insurance policy of an FA referee taking charge of an unaffiliated match.
