CUP FINALS 2017-18
1st XI Competition
Hampton 2 Brentwood 0
In a close game with little between the two teams Hampton School won the London Independent Schools Cup. Hampton, who had the better of the first half, scored very early on following a short corner, Shaun-Chris J scoring with his head from the resulting cross. In the second half Brentwood played with much more fight and passion. They had plenty of possession in the Hampton half of the pitch but were unable to make the most of their chances. An excellent 20m strike from Louis R sealed the victory for Hampton.

2nd XI Competition
Wellington 1 St. Paul's 3
Wellington College and St Paul's played out an excellent 2nd XI final at Larges Lane, home of Bracknell Town Football Club. Wellington started strongly and took the lead in the first five minutes, via Burn's header following an excellent set piece delivery from Johnston. St Paul's dominated the majority of the half, showing lots of quality in possession with Wicken scoring two goals from James and De La Riva Brown crosses to take a 2-1 lead at half-time. A more physical and competitive second half followed, with St Paul's creating more threats and opportunities, and they took a 3-1 lead midway through the half through a Little header. Wellington had their strongest spell in the last ten minutes of the game, creating several decent opportunities, but were unable to stop St Paul's earning the victory and taking home the 2nd XI London Independent Schools' Cup 2017/18.
