RULE CHANGE FOR SEASON 2021-22

BOODLES ISFA CUP
SMITH CONSTRUCTION ISFA U18 GIRLS CUP

The attention of all schools participating in the Boodles ISFA Cup and the Smith Construction ISFA U18 Girls Cup is drawn to a rule change which the ISFA Executive Committee has introduced for Season 2021-22.

IMPORTANT – PLEASE NOTE: This rule will be introduced in Season 2021-22 and NOT in the coming season (2020-21). The intention is to give all schools one year’s advance notice of this change.

ADDITION TO RULE 3 - QUALIFICATION AND REGISTRATION OF PLAYERS:

No school may name on the match team sheet more than 4 players who entered the school in Years 12 or 13.
Clarification: Any player in Years 12/13 who did not sit Year 11 GCSE examinations at the school concerned and whose GCSE academic results were not recorded in the school’s published statistics will be classified as having entered the school in Year 12/13.

NB In the Smith Construction ISFA U18 Girls Cup, where a school is co-educational in the Sixth Form only (or is in the process of making the transition from Sixth Form only to full co-education), exemption to this rule may be granted upon application to, and at the discretion of, ISFA.
